The exhibition is dedicated to Jewish communities in Lublin and has been built to resemble the interior of an archive and the metal bookshelves holding thousands of ring binders are important elements that create the exhibition’s distinct character. Several computer terminals that allow looking through the contents of databases (iconography, Oral History, texts) are an integral part of the exhibition. While exploring the exhibition, you will see hundreds of pictures and listen to the reconstructed sounds of the pre-war city. At the same time, you can search for information concerning specific houses and streets in the ring binders arranged on the bookshelves. The first part of the exhibition, devoted to the life of Jews in Lublin (up tp 1939), ends with the presentation of a scale-model of Lublin. The second part of the exhibition is dedicated to the Memory of the extermination of the Jewish population in Lublin. It is also a tale about the Righteous – those saved Jews. It takes the form of an artistic installation.
