Continents By Night

A multimedia travel and screening of a film on the facade of the building housing the Centre for the Meeting of Cultures. Continents by Night is a special event forming a part of “Contients” Festival of Globetrotting and Non-Fiction. For four hours, Teatralny Square will transform into a special meeting place for people interested in travel, culture and our plance.   On the facade of the  building housing the Centre for the Meeting of Cultures we will screen a tale by Bartosz Malinowsk ad Joanna Lipowczam, the first ever Poles to cross the 1700 km – long Great Himalaya Trail, considered to be one of the toughest and highest trails in the world.   We will also see “Planet Ocean”, which features unusual photos depicting the power of the oceans at the source of all life on Earth. The film has been made by Yann- Arthus Bertrand, Michael Pitiot and  an internnational team of underwater camramen.
