Discover Lublin’s golden age

Referring to Lublin’s multiculturalism that has been discovered in recent years, we want to organise an event that will be a part of this direction in the development and promotion of the city.  The year 2017 is not just the 700th anniversary of Lublin;s foundation, it is also the 500th anniversary of Reformation.   The location-based game “Discover Lublin’s golden age” is a project focused on the heritage of the Lublin region in the Reformation era. The aim is to show the role of Protestant communities in the development of the city and the region.To a large extent, Lublin draws its energy and strength from multiculturalism and we want to present this aspect of multiculturalism. The street game will be an excellent opportunity to learn the history of Lublin in the context of Reformation, to show the Protestant heritage of the Lublin region in an attractive way, to discover the architecture and culture connected with the Protestant era. For many, this is likely to be new information. We want to present them in an interesting way, using a variety of forms and means. The project also aims at integrating and activating the residents – it will be a great opportunity to work in teams. We hope that our project will contribute to presenting Lublin as a city with a very interesting past. We want to join the efforts to show Lublin as an open, multicultural city with a rich and diverse past and present.
