Fifth Dimension

Width, Height …Earth. Clay. Foundations. Depth, time…Clay is the city’s framework as part of bricks that in the  formed the medieval fortifications. Clay is the foundation of the city as it is part of bricks that raised modern buildings. Clay is a safe haven. It is all-encompassing, life-giving. Hands immersed in the fourth dimension give a three-dimensional form to a shapeless clay mass, thus revealing the fifth dimension of the earth. Earth is a material for an artist.

This event is an artistic performance by the remains of a forgotten medieval keep that was once a part of the city’s fortifications. On Rybny square, at the top of the stairs in the Hartwig Alley. On a cleared space next to the ruins of the keep we will have a table covered with a grey cloth and two chairs. One of the chairs will be taken by the artist-master. The other chair will be available for accidental passers-by, students. Any works created will be available for pick-up in the Kuźnia Kultury Studio at Kunickiego 35 street after 10 June 2017
