The playground of Alice in Wonderland – children area
We invite the young public to the Wonderland, where they can meet Alice and other characters from the book, visit the interactive playground full of fun and surprises, as well as participate in mini workshops.
Book Illustrations by students of Kharkiv School of Art and Design
The exhibition is a preview of pieces created in the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts (Ukraine) in the Workshop of Book Illustration led by Larysa Chaika. The exhibition features the semester and diploma works, book mock-ups, centerfolds, illustrations, graphic art and projects of completed and published books.
Katarzyna Boś ”Logotypes”
The exhibition presents the search for forms and solutions in graphic design for produts and brands that have a cat as their leitmotiv. The artist has treated this rather common topic as a challenge to discover new solutions and studies of this motive.
The ”K” word
An exhibition of photography of Paweł Bajew featuring portraits of people with short stature. The exhibition accompanies the project ”A different Lublin : the K word”.
City of Poetry or the Moment of Poetry – installation on Żmigród street
A specially arranged space in Żmigród street where you can slow down, stop for a minute, sit down comfortably, meet Poetry, and get inspired by poems – the City of Poetry. The space is filled with words, poems, typography in its various forms (illuminated palindromes, large-sized murals – on the tenement wall and on the street, pillows with quotations, books, poems in form of leaflets that you can take along). It is also a place to relax and to have a breather. One of the elements of the City of Poetry project is an animated mural projected on the tenament wall. It presents portraits of poets but also fragments of their works and the related themes, events, situations or characters that they feature. Animations make up for a uniform mosaic that appears on the surface of the tenement wall in specific areas and at specific time, creating a one of a kind ephemeric animated mural that will exist only during the Night of Culture in Lublin.
The third hour of Sinsen
We invite you for a third edition of the unique concert in a form of a meeting on a carpet, surrounded by tenemets, candles and nooks of the Lublin city center. This music show is a special meeting with artists and random people who during that night will flow like a river and look for unusual experiences. For the third year in a row the event will take place at the House of Words (Dom Słów) at Królewska 17 street. After the success of the first two editions of the event, the time has come to invite you for the third time to the mystical evening of the Third Hour of Sinsen. The atmosphere of the concert is a unique aura created according to Sinsen’s vision. It is evolving every year thanks to its participants who actively take part in the event and collaborate with the artists, forming an exceptional time and space arrangement.
