Studio Munka, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, is one of the hottest movie studios in Poland. Under the supervision of experienced colleagues, young filmmakers are able to spread their wings and try their hands at their debut short and long feature films. The latter successfully reach wider audiences, for instance Bartosz Konopka’s “Lęk” or Piotr Domalewski’s “Cicha Noc”. The former’s route to cinemas is harder since cinemas are generally reluctant to take short films. But, in turn, they are big hits at the largest international movie festivals, including Cannes and Vancouver. On Night of Culture, Studio Munka invites everyone to see the most interesting short films released by the studio.
Admission is free, the viewers will be let in 15 minutes before each module, we will not be able to let viewers in after the screening starts. Please be on time.
