THEATRE
Pierwszego Kontaktu theatre is a group founded by a married couple of theatre instructors: Mariola and Tomasz Załuccy. The theatre has been operating for 11 years. They have produced a number of plays awarded at Poland-wide theatre festivals. The director and team leader – Tomasz Załucki has won theScholarshipi of the Mayor of Lublin (in 2016), that was used to produce “The everyday life of sister F.”
ABOUT THE PLAY
“The Everyday life of sister F.” is a fast-paced story about the everyday life of St Faustina, created on the basis of accounts of people who knew her. We meet our protagonists family, sisters, Fr. Sopoćka and the people who witnessed her last moments. All this is expressed using simple means – the set is at once a mobile prop that is moved by the actors to create new environments, and for music, we have a capella singing. This is a universal story about an individual’s struggle with everyday relations with others in face of meeting with God.
