Theatre in the Lens – Photography Exhibition

This is the post-competition exhibition following the 7th International Photography Contest “Theatre in the Lens” presenting photographs taken during 26th Meeting of Artists of the Unblazed Trail – an international review of theatres of persons with disabilitiies.  The review has been taking place in Lublin for over 25 years and  around 20 theatre groups from Poland and abroad (Ukraine, Belarus, Lithuania, Russia…) come to take part every year. The photography contest was created with a view to promoting the art of the disabled and shaping good approaches towards them among the society.  Moreover, it engages the citizens in the cultural life of the city, enables dialogue between photographers on different levels of proficiency, promotes social photography. The exhibition consists of 20 photos awarded by the jury in one of the four categories: Potrait, Festival, Actors, Artistic perspective. It also contains special honours, including an award for the best take on the festival’s main theme.
