Teatralna Cafe – the beginnings of coffee in the city.  The story of this place dates back to 1886, thought we know a lot more about its post-war history. In Lublin, the cafe was best known for its  cafe noir. The first barista in Lublin roasted and brewed coffee. He carried his secrets to the grave.  “Widelski”, as the cafe was commonly called, attracted the creme de la creme of Lublin’s cultural community: actors and directors, philharmonic musicians, literatis, visual artists and  lawyers. We will briefly go back in time. We will present the story of the cafe and tell you about the meetings of Lublin’s society. We will take the seats of directors and actors and feel like the elites of post-war Lublin. Let’s meet, get to know each other and spent a while together. After all, coffe drinkers don’t count time.
