East End Art Fair / Night of Concept Stores

Nearly 30 exhibitors of the lifestyle domain will be showing design, fashion, art, and everything else that surrounds us every day. In specially designed concept stores in a form of lift-like cubes placed in the representative areas of the Center for the Meeting of Cultures you will be able to see, but also purchase products directly from the designers, artists, or producers of everyday EDC (Everyday Carry) items. You can also take part in workshops for kids and for adults. We will also show parts of the building that normally are inaccessible for visitors and show the behind the scenes of preparing an artistic event.

Expedition ‘88

The collected objects show different aspects of everyday life from the end of the 80’s. Expedition ’88 allows you direct or even sensate contact with the collection of unique artefacts. The exhibition will feature i.a. the Bambino gramophone, walkman, typewriter, Pewex tickets, Commodore computer, Zenit analogue camera or the Montana watch playing melodies. The collected objects are also accessible for visitors with special needs (audio description, sign language movies). Teaching materials are also available to help you by independent tours. The exhibition is organized by the Ethnographic Museum in Warsaw.

Opera Fashion Exhibition

The greatest operas and the best known designers: Gosia Baczyńska, Tomasz Ossoliński, Joanna Klimas, Maciej Zień, Hanna Bakuła, Franca Squarciapino, Marek Adamski, as well as costume designers, whose unique tailoring artworks have been dazzling the viewers of Teatr Wielki Polish National Opera shows for years. Fabrics of breathtaking sensuality, fascinating cuts, richness of designs and details – a journey across the world of fashion that inspires the greatest theater directors, set in a specially arranged exhibition space of the Lublin Center for the Meeting of Cultures. The exhibits shown come from the collections of Theatre Museum and Gallery of Teatr Wielki Polish National Opera in Warsaw

‘’Board Mania – an incredible journey to the world of games without electricity’’ offers a free game rental service, help of experienced animators and the support of game masters, presentation of new releases, lectures and meetings with game designers, reviewers, youtubers, publishers and other well-known industry personalities, board game design and creation of social media content workshop, tournaments.
