Rooftop Concert in Tarasy Zamkowe Shopping Centre

The roof of Tarasy Zamkowe Shopping Centre will once again become a concert stage. This time, it will feature Henryk Wieniawski Lublin Philharmonic Symphonic Orchestra. Fifty instrumentalists will introduce us to the world of incredible music, often from times long past, that despite the passage of time  continues to strike the right chords in the hearts of the listeners. 

Rooftop concert Programme:
Bartosz Weber solo –  a musician and producer associated with the Warsaw- based label Lado ABC, known from such bands as Baaba, Mitch & Mitch, Slalom, Warszawska Orkiestra Rozrywkowa. His solo project is largely based on original electronic music, generated using analogue instruments.

Students from K.Lipiński Music School under the supervision of Agnieszka Miedzwiecka will play six Celtic harps. This instrument, embedded in Irish and Scottish music traditions,  will let us discover such songs as L.Cohen’s “Hallelujah” in a completely new light.

50 instrumentalists will introduce us to the world of incredible  music, often from times long past. This music continues to strike the right chords in the hearts of the listeners despite the passage of time

Programme:

1. A. Mozart – Concerto for Flute, Harp, and Orchestra in C major, K. 299/297c, composed in 1178 in Paris and considered one of the composer’s best pieces.
2. Haydn – Trumpet Concerto in E-flat major, Hob.VIIe:1 – one of Haydn’s last orchestral pieces, composed in 1796.
3. M de Falla – Suite no from the balet The three-cornered hat” – an excerpt from a one-act comical ballet, first shown in 1919 – the costumes were designed by P. Picasso.
