Colour. Form. Dynamics.

The exhibition SHAPES OF MIND is an attempt to capture the unique abstract expression in sharp, geometric lines and constrasting colours. NAWER creates paintings that draw from architecture and just like architecture they are mathematically calculated and balanced. No line is accidental.

The result is a fururistic vision of the city, which is confronted with the gallery and its immediate surroundings. The exhibition makes use of concrete, light and multimedia and activities take place both within Brain Damage Gallery and outside.

NAWER

Architect, designer, artist. He’s been involved in street art since the mid 1990s. Nowadays, he’s one of the leading representatives of graffuturism and an artist whose work has been featured in major art galleries around the world (San Francisco, Tokyo, Dortmund, Prague, Berlin, Paris, London, Munich, Lyon and many others).  His works are famous for an innovative approach to abstraction and geometry, which is in constant dialogue with the public space and its functions. This combination of architecture and painting assured Nawer unfaltering fame among enthusiasts of futuristic aesthetics and street art connoisseurs

Daniel Drumz:

One of the most famous Polish DJs, well-known both in Poland and abroad. He’s currently signed with U Know Me Records.

Drumz’ music draws on the early hip hop culture but aside from this genre, the artist also reaches for funk and soul. Drumz opened parties for such artists as  De La Soul (USA), Guru (Gang Starr, USA), Jay-Z (USA), Rahzel (The Roots, USA), The Freestylers (UK), Looptroop (Szwecja), Michał Urbaniak. He recorded and participated in jam sessions with such performers as  Grammatik, Eldo, Leszek Możdżer, Dizkret & The Headnods, or  O.S.T.R.
