Night of Culture 2017 – we know the date!

Can we time travel like in “Midnight in Paris’? Imagine that a street in the Old Town will become such a time machine. It will take us back to the 1920s. Want to see ice sculptures on a hot June night? What about a huge lawn instead of an asphalt road in front of the Krakowska Gate? It sounds incredible but Night of Culture is all about such moments. Night of Culture is a festival that continuously offers surprises; incredible things happen. Art enlivens forgotten or unknown places. Gates become light installations and squares turn into theatre stages. The streets of the Old town surprise even its most frequent visitors. Galleries, theatres and museums stay open until the wee hours. Night of Culture inspires us to rediscover Lublin or to discover it for the very first time. Participants face difficult choices; there are several hundred attractions to see and time is short. It’s only one night, after all.
